Neon Nights
Centered around a polyhedral shape, this pendant light fixture explores the crossroads between traditional form and modern material expression. It nods playfully to the nostalgia of grandma's vintage glass light shade, yet captivating hardware junctions and luminous surfaces can transport you into the futuristic street scenes of Tokyo.
Each surface of the tessellated polyhedron was CNC milled from 1/4" white HDPE, chosen for its unique ability to both cast and diffuse light in the form of a soft glow.
Custom 3D printed nodes and silver hardware bring the shade structure together highlighting the precision of a well crafted digitally fabricated product.
